Spring reminds me of God's love. When He comes into your life, you feel this same kind of renewal. You feel like winter turning to spring, death coming to life. You trade your inward pain for inward joy, and you become beautiful in a way you never were before...because God's spirit is living inside of you.
So as you look forward to spring, really take some time to reflect on God's love. And if you don't know God, ask yourself why. Are you willing to turn your winter into spring? What is stopping you?
If you are afraid, remember that perfect love casts out all fear. God is love.
If you feel unworthy, remember that God loved you enough to send His only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for your sins. When you accept Him, you become an adopted son or daughter into the family of God...and that can never be taken away from you.
Are you living with past hurts and regrets? God will heal your pain.
Are you reluctant because you do not understand everything about God? In time, as you read your Bible, God will reveal more and more to you. Some things will not be revealed until we get to Heaven.
God's arms are open wide for you. Run into them with the abandon of a small child. You will never regret it.
